    Agricultural holding district (Zoning Ordinance §06.02): 2.5-acre minimum lots, 10 percent maximum lot coverage. Agricultural buildings (barns, sheds, silos) are exempt from the bulk regulations.

    Low density single-family district (§06.03): 40,000 sq ft minimum lots. Short-term rental units meeting §12.02 are a listed permitted use.

    Low density single-family district (§06.04): 20,000 sq ft minimum lots, 15,000 sq ft of development area required per dwelling unit.

    Low/Medium Density Residential

    Low/medium density district (§05.01.010, §06.05): 15,000 sq ft minimum lots; multi-family only as a conditional use.

    Medium Density Residential

    Planned Unit Development (legacy)

    PUD appears on the Gallatin GIS layer only as a suffix on a base code (for example CG(PUD), R-20(PUD)) marking previously approved planned developments (§08.04.010, §08.05.015). The approved PUD plan and conditions control alongside the base district.
