How many garage sales can I have in Macomb Township?
Up to 4 sales per calendar year per one- or two-family residence, each lasting no more than 4 consecutive days, with at least 45 days between sales (Sec. 10.0355.A-C). Hours are limited to 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Sec. 10.0355.D).
Signs for the sale may go on private property with the owner's permission, only for the duration of the sale, at up to 6 square feet of area and 4 feet of height (Sec. 10.0355.E). During the sale you are responsible for keeping conduct reasonable and keeping shoppers' cars from blocking traffic, driveways, or mailboxes (Sec. 10.0355.F).
