ZoningVerdict

What can I build on this property?

It depends on the zoning district. Kyle's Chapter 53 establishes agricultural (A, UE), single-family (R-1-1, R-1-2, R-1-3, R-1-A, R-1-T, R-1-C), two-family (R-2), multifamily (R-3-1, R-3-2, R-3-3), manufactured home (M-1, M-2, M-3), downtown (CBD-1, CBD-2), commercial (RS, NC, CC, E, HS, O/I), industrial (W, CM), and special (B, TU, RV, MXD, PUD) districts, plus H and CU overlays (Sec. 53-34). Residential districts list uses in their own divisions; most commercial and industrial districts point to the SIC code use table in Sec. 53-1230. Uses are noncumulative, meaning only uses expressly permitted in the district are allowed (Sec. 53-33(o)). Kyle regulates zoning inside its incorporated city limits only; Texas counties do not zone, and the ETJ has no municipal zoning. Confirm the district, any overlay or PUD condition, and current ordinance text with the Kyle Planning Department before design, purchase, leasing, or permitting decisions.
