Where are restaurants allowed in Spring Hill?
Restaurant is permitted by right (fetched directly from Table 8-1, page 8-4, this session) in every commercial and mixed-use district: C-1, C-2, C-3, C-4, C-5, C-D, C-G, plus I-1 and RD. It is not listed (not allowed) in any residential district (R-A, R-R, R-1 through R-7, R-MH), I-2, IC, AG, PR, or NA. The ordinance's Table 8-1 uses a single "C-D" column; it does not break the Downtown district into this pack's C-D-C, C-D-E1, and C-D-E2 subdistricts, so confirm with Planning whether any of those subdistricts carry a restaurant restriction the table-wide "C-D" entry does not show. Outdoor Dining is a separate row, permitted by right in C-1 through C-D plus RD under Sec. 8.3.R; Drive-Through Facility is its own row (special use in C-3 and C-4, permitted by right in C-5); Bar is its own row too. Check those specific rows if the use includes outdoor seating, a drive-through, or alcohol service.
