PUD — Planned Unit Development District
Within a PUD, deviations from base standards travel through the PUD plan process rather than the board of adjustment: concept development plan review by the planning and zoning commission, council approval, then preliminary and final site plans (Secs. 53-722, 53-723). Sec. 53-703 permits departures from strict code enforcement for streets, lot size, parking, setbacks, signage, and utilities as part of plan approval. Plans expire if not acted on (Sec. 53-725).
