What can I build on this property?
It depends on the zoning district. Princeton's base districts (Sec. 82-7) are Agricultural (A); residential SF-E, SF-SE, SF-1, SF-2, TF, SF-Z, SF-TH, MF-1, and MF-2; manufactured housing MH-S (Sec. 82-16, section-headed MH-1) and MH-P (Sec. 82-17, section-headed MH-2); nonresidential NC, C-1, C-2, M-1, and M-2; and the special Planned Development (PD) district. The Sec. 82-27 use chart marks every use in every district as permitted (X), specific use permit required (S), conditional (#), or prohibited (blank). Descriptions of each use are in Sec. 82-28, and special conditions for marked uses are in Sec. 82-29. PD districts follow their own granting ordinance instead of the base district rules. Confirm your zoning district on the city's zoning map (princetontx.gov/315/Maps-of-Princeton) or with Development Services, Planning and Zoning (972-736-2416). This pack covers incorporated Princeton only; ETJ and unincorporated Collin County land have no municipal zoning.
