How many parking spaces does a house need in Rochester?
One-family detached and two-family dwellings require 2 off-street parking spaces per dwelling unit. Section 2402 says required parking for one-family or two-family dwellings must consist of a paved driveway, and vehicles may be parked only on a paved driveway or in a garage or carport. It also limits vehicle placement near the front lot line and driveway placement between the dwelling and the front lot line.
