How much parking is required in Indian Trail?
Parking is set by use in Table 1000-1 (Sec. 1020.010), not by zoning district alone. Single-family detached requires 2 spaces per unit plus 1 space per room after the first 3 bedrooms, and garages do not count as parking spaces. Multifamily requires 1.5 spaces per one-bedroom unit, 2 per two-bedroom, and 2.5 per unit with three or more bedrooms. See Chapter 1020 for the full requirement table.
