How much parking is required?

Parking is use-based under Table 4.3.12.B-1: single-family detached homes need 2 spaces per dwelling plus 1 per rented room; attached dwellings need 1.5 per unit (2 per unit in PUD-R and PUD-MU); non-residential ratios are set per use row (per square footage, seats, or similar units). Qualifying on-street spaces adjacent to the frontage can count, and fractional requirements round down. In CD-5, the Arts District Overlay, and the West End Historic District, changes of non-residential use and small expansions are exempt from added parking, and the Zoning Administrator can count public spaces within 1,320 feet for new construction.
