How much parking is required in Celina?

Parking depends on district and land use. Single-family detached lots need a minimum of 2 garage spaces plus 2 additional spaces per unit, and lots under 60 feet wide must use a rear-entry, alley-loaded garage (Sec. 14.02.203, Table 2A; Sec. 14.02.201(c)(3)). Single-family attached (townhome, duplex) units need at least 2 enclosed spaces plus 0.5 additional space for overflow and visitors (Sec. 14.04.403). Multi-family parking runs by bedroom count: 1.5 spaces for studio and 1-bedroom units, 2.0 for 2-bedroom, 2.5 for 3+ bedroom, with an overall floor of 1.8 spaces per unit, and enclosed-parking percentages that vary from none required (MF-2) to 75 percent (MF-3) (Sec. 14.02.301(c)(3)). Non-residential parking is set per land use in Sec. 14.04.405 rather than a fixed district ratio.
