Can I run a home business here?
Office-oriented home occupations are permitted by right in all residential districts and in the T-2 through T-4 and OT-3, OT-4R, and OT-4T transects (UDC 10.311.6.2). The business may occupy up to 200 sq. ft. or 10 percent of the dwelling, only residents may work there, signage is prohibited, business visits are capped at 4 per day between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM, and retail sales at the house are prohibited beyond one sales party per month. Barber and beauty services, medical and veterinary offices, vehicle repair, retail sales, and similar activity are prohibited as home occupations. If your business outgrows these limits, ask the Development Services Department about live-work dwellings or commercial districts.
