Can I run a home business here?

Yes, within the home occupation limits of Sec. 3.4.2.K, which apply the same way across all districts. The business must be incidental and subordinate to the residential use, occupying no more than 10 percent of the dwelling's gross floor area, with no structural additions or exterior changes that reveal the business from outside. Staffing is limited to family members living in the home plus a maximum of 1 non-resident employee, and customer traffic is capped at 1 client at a time (or up to 5 students at a time for classes such as baking, craft, or dance). No commercial vehicles, and no more than 1 noncommercial vehicle associated with the business. No noise, vibration, glare, smoke, fumes, odors, or electrical interference detectable beyond the lot line. In the ETJ, home occupations are registered at Holly Springs Town Hall (128 S. Main St.), the same as within town limits.
