Buildings may cover at most 30 percent of the lot. At least 40 percent of the lot must stay open space, and at least 75 percent of that open space must be vegetated (§ 4.30 OS-01, as amended by Ord. 2518).

In the front open space, at least 65 percent must be vegetated, and vehicles may stand there only on paved surfaces (§ 4.31 OS-02). Porches and steps may project 10 feet into the front open space; eaves may project 2 inches per foot of open space width, up to 2 feet (§ 4.30 OS-01(C)).
