All districts

Detached accessory buildings and structures scale their required setback with size: buildings or structures of 100 square feet or less need only 1 foot from rear and side lines, 101 to 300 square feet need 3 feet, 301 to 500 square feet need 5 feet, and anything larger or two stories or more must meet the full applicable zoning district setback. None are permitted in the front yard. Detached accessory structures are capped at 12 feet in height; detached accessory buildings follow the height allowed in the applicable zoning district. Both must sit behind the primary building's front face and cannot be used for commercial purposes unless approved as a home occupation or on a site plan.
