UDC Section 5.02.020.F (Home-Based Business) is the citywide home-occupation section; the placeholder citation to Section 5.02.020.E was wrong and is corrected here. A Home-Based Business must be conducted entirely within the dwelling or an accessory structure with no outside storage, run only by residents of the premises (no non-resident employees), and have no signage. Commercial-vehicle deliveries are limited to 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (regular carriers such as USPS, UPS, and FedEx are exempt from that window). On-site retail storefronts are not allowed; permitted sales are limited to incidental merchandise tied to a service provided, direct sales/product distribution, phone/internet/mail sales, and custom products the business creates. Certain uses (group homes, family day cares, bed and breakfasts, garage sales) are addressed elsewhere in the use chart and are not treated as home-based businesses. Confirm the full Section 5.02.020.F conditions and any required registration with the Planning Department before acting.
