CBD — Central Business District

Existing structures/uses predating the current Ordinance keep any existing parking (or lack of it) as conforming. New structures/uses: 1 space per 250 square feet of gross floor area, minimum 2 spaces; up to 75 percent of the requirement may be waived by City Council on the site plan.

All districts

Single-family dwellings must provide a minimum of 2 enclosed parking spaces behind the front building line plus 2 additional spaces on a paved driveway at least 25 feet long, in every district that allows single-family homes (AG, R1, SF-20 through SF-6, MH). Nonresidential and multifamily uses follow the use-based ratios in the Sec. 38.6 schedule (for example general commercial use: 1 space per 250 square feet; general office: 1 space per 300 square feet), computed per Sec. 38.3 through 38.10.
