A Home-Based Business is permitted only as an accessory use to a legally established residential use, with no exterior alteration or visible business activity, run by the resident owner/tenant (no more than 2 non-resident employees on site at once), no more than 4 patrons and 2 patron/business vehicles at a time, hours limited to 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. outdoors and 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. indoors, no outside storage or display, no advertising signage, and no ready inventory for sale unless made or assembled on site (Sec. 46.2). Uses not separately listed are allowed if operated as a No-Impact Home-Based Business under Texas Local Government Code Sec. 229.902 (Sec. 46.4). Animal hospitals/kennels, alcohol sales, on-site food/beverage consumption, transportation/automotive uses, light industrial/manufacturing uses, and sexually oriented businesses are never allowed as home-based businesses (Sec. 46.5).
