All districts

An accessory building's floor area may not exceed 50 percent of the principal structure's floor area, and combined floor area of all buildings may not exceed the district's maximum lot coverage (larger buildings may be authorized by the Director for guest houses or agricultural production buildings). Accessory buildings are capped at 18 feet in height, must sit on the same lot as the principal use, may not sit in platted or recorded easements, and must be set back at least 5 feet from side lot lines and 10 feet from rear lot lines. An accessory building may not be built or used before the principal building's construction is complete.
