What is the minimum lot size for single-family residential districts in Franklin?
The base residential minimums step down by district: AG 15 acres; ER 2 acres; R1 30,000 sq ft; R2 15,000 sq ft; R3 9,000 sq ft; R6 4,000 sq ft. R4 is contextual: 75 percent of the average lot size and width on the same block face, but never less than 6,500 sq ft and 60 ft wide. Recorded subdivision plats can override some residential dimensional standards where the ordinance says so.
