How tall can I build in Maricopa?

Height caps are in the same dimensional tables as setbacks. Most RS residential districts cap principal buildings at 30 feet; RM allows 36 feet and RH allows 42 feet. Commercial districts (NC, GC, SC, GO) cap at 40 feet. Mixed use ranges from 30 feet in MU-N up to 60 feet in MU-G. Industrial districts (LI, GI, IP) cap at 40 feet, subject to height-limit exceptions in MCC 18.80.080 for specific structures like mechanical equipment, church spires, and similar features. Rural districts cap at 30 to 35 feet. A property inside a PAD overlay follows the adopted PAD ordinance's height limit instead of the base district figure. Confirm the district and current table figures with Development Services (520-568-9098) before designing.
