ZoningVerdict

How tall can I build?

Height limits are set in Table 4.1.3.B. Most single-family and low-density residential districts cap height at 38 feet (R-1, RE, A, PV); RML allows 50 feet, and RMM and INST allow 60 feet. The Commercial (C), Professional Office (P), Industrial (I), and Commercial Corridor (CC) districts show no citywide maximum height in the table ('None'), so any building height limit for those parcels would come from another source such as an overlay, PUD condition, or FAA/airport height zoning; confirm this with City Planning before assuming an unlimited height. Mixed-use redevelopment districts allow the most height: MX7 up to 115 feet or 8 stories, South Cape up to 120 feet or 10 stories, and MXB up to 160 feet or 12 stories. NC district height is set in the district's own Table 4.2.12, which is review-gated in this pack. PUD height is set entirely by the adopting PUD ordinance.
