How much parking is required?

Parking is controlled by Article 06 and table notes. Many single-family districts require two spaces, ZL-5 requires a two-car garage, 2F requires two off-street spaces plus one garage space per dwelling unit, and MF-14 and non-residential uses refer to Article 06. This pack covers incorporated Rockwall city limits only. The UDC states zoning applies within the corporate limits and lands subject to zoning jurisdiction as conferred by state law, but Texas cities may not zone ETJ land under current Texas law and Texas counties do not provide general zoning. ETJ and unincorporated Rockwall County parcels are out of scope for this draft.
