How much parking is required?

Parking is set by use in the Sec. 6-4-2 table, not by zoning district. Single-family and two-family homes need 2 enclosed spaces per dwelling unit, side-by-side or tandem. Multi-family runs by bedroom count: 1 space per unit for efficiencies and studios, 1.5 spaces per unit for one-bedroom units, and 2 spaces per unit for two or more bedrooms (townhomes also need 2 spaces per unit), plus 1 guest space per 10 units for developments of 5 or more units, with at least 1 covered, assigned space per unit. Retail and personal services need 1 space per 300 square feet of floor area; restaurants need 1 space per 50 square feet of dining area, plus separate kitchen and outdoor patio ratios.
