How much parking is required?
Off-street parking and loading is required citywide under Subsection 4.04, with specific space-count ratios by use type in the Subsection 4.04.08 schedule. Parking must generally be paved concrete, though pervious concrete or another material can be approved by the Director of Engineering Services, and required parking generally must sit on the same lot as the use it serves. Nonresidential uses with 50,000 square feet or more of gross floor area must also provide off-street loading and unloading area. In the OTC district, required parking is cut by 50 percent from the standard citywide schedule for uses that were operating in OTC before the applicable reduction ordinance's effective date, but this reduction never applies to residential development in OTC. The exact ratio for your specific use was not retrieved this session and is review-gated; confirm the current Subsection 4.04.08 schedule with Frisco Planning and Zoning at 972-292-5301. This pack covers incorporated Frisco only.
