How much parking is required?

Parking ratios are citywide in Sec. 14.05.005 (Chapter 14, Site Development), by use rather than district. Common ones: single-family homes 2 off-street spaces per unit, each at least 10 by 20 feet; townhomes 2 per unit plus 20 percent guest parking; apartments 1 per efficiency, 1.5 for the first bedroom, plus 0.5 per additional bedroom; retail 1 per 250 square feet; general office and banks 1 per 300; medical and personal services 1 per 200; restaurants 1 per 100; warehouses 1 per 2,000. Drive-throughs need stacking spaces (10 for a restaurant lane, 3 for a bank teller lane, 6 for a car wash tunnel), and an ADU requires one added space in the side or rear yard (Sec. 11.04.032). The development services committee sets requirements for uses the table does not list.
