Do I need special approval for my use?

Check how the Sec. 82-27 use chart marks your use in your district. X means the use is permitted outright. S means you need a specific use permit (SUP) under Sec. 82-30, which requires a scaled site plan, a planning and zoning commission recommendation, and city council approval after a public hearing. # marks a conditional use governed by a cited section. A blank cell means the use is prohibited in that district without a rezoning. Uses marked with an asterisk in the chart carry added conditions in Sec. 82-29 (for example child care centers or radio/television/microwave towers). Confirm your zoning district and the exact use marking with Development Services, Planning and Zoning (972-736-2416). This pack covers incorporated Princeton only; ETJ and unincorporated Collin County land have no municipal zoning.
