Home occupations are regulated as home-based businesses in Article IV. District eligibility and operating limits are review-gated to Table 4.3-3 and Section 4.3.6. This pack covers incorporated Fate city limits only. Article I, Section 36-1.4 applies the UDO to land inside the corporate boundaries and applies ETJ provisions only to subdivision and development authority. Texas cities may not zone ETJ land under current Texas law, and Texas counties do not provide general zoning. ETJ and unincorporated Rockwall County parcels are out of scope for zoning answers.
