What are the rules for building a fence?
Fence, wall, and screening standards are in Sec. 14.02.102, covering how fence height is measured, permit and inspection requirements, prohibited materials, and separate rules for residential and nonresidential districts. Corner and reverse-frontage lots and easements carry added restrictions, and outside storage may not exceed the fence height. Confirm the current fence standards and any permit requirement with Planning and Zoning.
