RR — Rural Residential

Detached dwellings and detached cottage dwellings are permitted by right (P). Manufactured dwellings are permitted with additional standards (PS) only in RR among the residential districts (Sec. 3.3.2.E). Family care homes are permitted with additional standards. SR — Suburban Residential

NR — Neighborhood Residential

Detached dwellings and detached cottage dwellings are permitted by right (P). Attached dwellings (duplex, triplex, quadruplex, townhome) and apartment dwellings require a Conditional Zoning District (CD). Family care homes are permitted with additional standards. NCR — Neighborhood Center Residential

Apartment dwellings are permitted with additional standards (PS); retail uses, food/restaurant uses, and most office and personal service uses are permitted by right (P). DMX — Downtown Mixed-Use

DMX is the traditional downtown core: apartment dwellings are permitted with additional standards (PS); retail, dining, hotels, and most office/personal service uses are permitted by right (P). RMX — Regional Mixed-Use

CB — Community Business

SP — Special District

SP is a Conditional Zoning District (CD) only district; it cannot be applied through a straight rezoning. IVMX — Innovation Village Mixed-Use

Light manufacturing, offices, business services, and many commercial and industrial uses are permitted (P) or permitted with additional standards (PS). Retail Uses and Food/Restaurant Uses are permitted by right (P), not merely permitted with additional standards; Theater is also permitted by right. Indoor and outdoor amusement/entertainment is not permitted (dash), and Bar/Tasting Room is permitted with additional standards (PS). BRT — Business and Research Technology

HI — Heavy Industrial

HI is a Conditional Zoning District (CD) only district; it cannot be applied through a straight rezoning. Manufacturing and processing uses that may require substantial outdoor storage or operations are the intended uses (Sec. 2.1.3).
