All districts

One- and two-family homes need two paved off-street spaces per dwelling unit, outside the required front yard; parking in the front setback area is allowed only on a hard-surfaced driveway of concrete, asphalt, or paver blocks, and driveways of grass, cinders, dirt, slag, or gravel are prohibited (Section 5.21.B.1.a; Section 3.29.K). Multiple-family units need 2 spaces per efficiency or one-bedroom unit and 2.25 per two-or-more-bedroom unit (Section 5.21.B.1.b).

Non-residential ratios are set per use in the Section 5.21.B schedule. Cell-verified examples: banks 1 per 200 square feet, business offices and medical clinics 1 per 150, retail stores 1 per 200 (1 per 225 over 30,000 square feet), sit-down restaurants 1 per 100 or 1 per 2 persons of occupancy (whichever is greater), fast-food and drive-ins 1 per 150, carry-out only 1 per 75, industrial 1 per 800 (warehouse), 1 per 500 (manufacturing) and 1 per 300 (office area). Spaces are 9 by 18 feet; drive-throughs need 6 stacking spaces per restaurant lane and 4 for banks and pharmacies (Section 5.21.C.2; Section 5.21.A.11).

RVs, boats, and trailers may be parked on residential premises at least 5 feet from any building or lot line, behind the front or side building line facing the street, and never on a vacant parcel (Section 3.29.H). One commercial vehicle up to 8,000 pounds GVW may be kept, parked behind the required building setback line (Section 3.29.G).
