All districts

Home occupations are permitted by right in the residential districts (§ 770-25). The conditions are strict:

Only residents of the dwelling may be engaged or employed in the business. No outside employees at all.
The business may use at most 10 percent of the dwelling's floor area.
It must be conducted wholly within the dwelling. Never in an accessory building, attached or detached.
No exterior signage, and no direct sales of products on the premises.
No traffic beyond normal domestic levels, no visible storage, no nuisance, and no added parking.

No interior or exterior alterations may be required or result from the occupation; equipment is limited to that ordinarily used for household or leisure purposes (§ 770-25G-H).
