RA — Residential Acreage

All buildings together may cover at most 25 percent of the lot (Section 3.1.1.D). Accessory buildings also may not occupy more than 25 percent of the required rear yard, and their aggregate floor area is capped at 1,500 square feet, with a deed-restricted exception up to 2,500 square feet on lots of at least 1 acre (Section 4.19.1.C; Section 4.19.1.E.v).

R-1 — One-Family Residential (R-1)

All buildings together may cover at most 25 percent of the lot (Section 3.1.2.D). Accessory buildings may not occupy more than 25 percent of the required rear yard, and their total floor area is capped at 1,500 square feet on a conforming R-1 lot, or 1,000 square feet if the lot does not meet R-1 area and width (Section 4.19.1.C; Section 4.19.1.E.iii).

R-2 — One-Family Residential (R-2)

All buildings together may cover at most 25 percent of the lot (Section 3.1.3.D). Accessory buildings are further limited to 25 percent of the required rear yard and an aggregate of 1,000 square feet in R-2 (Section 4.19.1.C; Section 4.19.1.E.ii).

R-3 — One-Family Residential (R-3)

All buildings together may cover at most 25 percent of the lot (Section 3.1.4.D). Accessory buildings are limited to 25 percent of the required rear yard and an aggregate of 850 square feet in R-3 (Section 4.19.1.C; Section 4.19.1.E.i).

R-4 — One-Family Residential (R-4)

All buildings together may cover at most 25 percent of the lot (Section 3.1.5.D). Accessory buildings are limited to 25 percent of the required rear yard and an aggregate of 850 square feet in R-4 (Section 4.19.1.C; Section 4.19.1.E.i).

RT — Two-Family Residential

All buildings together may cover at most 25 percent of the lot (Section 3.1.6.D). Accessory buildings are limited to 25 percent of the required rear yard and an aggregate of 850 square feet in RT (Section 4.19.1.C; Section 4.19.1.E.i).

RM-1 — Low-Density, Low-Rise Multiple-Family

Maximum lot coverage is 25 percent (Section 3.1.7.D). At least 200 square feet of usable open space per dwelling unit is also required (Section 3.1.7.D).

RM-2 — High-Density, Mid-Rise Multiple-Family

Maximum lot coverage is 45 percent (Section 3.1.8.D). At least 200 square feet of usable open space per dwelling unit is required (Section 3.1.8.D).
