Off-street parking is set by use in LDO Chapter 107, Article IV (Parking and Loading Regulations), primarily Table 107-4c (Sec. 107-4.9). Representative residential ratios: single-family dwelling 2 spaces per unit, plus 0.2 spaces per unit for lots 40 feet wide or less (visitor/overflow parking); two-family (duplex) and three-family (triplex) 2 per unit; multi-family (4 or more units) and live/work dwellings 2 per unit; townhouse 2 per unit plus 1 per 500 square feet of community facility uses plus 0.2 spaces per unit for visitor parking; group home same as a dwelling. Representative non-residential ratios: office and medical office 1 per 250/200 square feet GFA; retail shopping 1 per 400 square feet GFA; restaurant 1 per 100 square feet GFA (1 per 150 for convenience/take-out); bar 1 per 100 square feet GFA; many industrial/warehouse/manufacturing uses 1 per 1,000-1,500 square feet GFA; several large-format and public uses (fairgrounds, post office, public facility, warehouse/distribution) are determined by a parking study submitted with the site plan rather than a fixed ratio. Chapter 107 also sets separate R-1/R-2/SHD-RO residential provisions (Sec. 107-4.3), dimensions (Sec. 107-4.5), bicycle parking (Sec. 107-4.6), off-street loading (Sec. 107-4.7), and shared parking (Sec. 107-4.8). This pack's ratios are representative, not exhaustive; confirm the exact ratio for a specific use with Planning and Zoning (623-222-3000) or the Municode publication.
