All districts

Single-unit dwellings must provide a minimum of 2 covered parking spaces per unit, at least one of which must be an enclosed garage space (MCC 18.105.030). Multiple-unit projects must provide 1 covered parking space per unit; office uses, 1 covered space per office or suite. All uses other than single-unit dwellings must provide at least 4 on-site parking spaces total. The specific minimum parking ratio for every other use (retail, restaurant, industrial, etc.) is set by Table 18.105.040.A; review-gated, exact per-use ratios in that table were not independently captured this session as an image-based table. Up to 20 percent of required spaces on a site with 10+ required spaces may be compact (min. 8 ft by 16 ft), standard spaces are minimum 9 ft by 18 ft. Facilities with 20+ spaces serving multi-unit dwellings, offices, hotels/motels, or large resorts must provide EV charging at 5 percent of spaces. Parking may not be located in any RS district's or any district's required front/street side yard except driveways. Reductions are available under MCC 18.105.060 (parking reductions) and alternative compliance under MCC 18.105.070.
