All districts

General accessory uses and structures must be compatible with and complementary to the associated primary structure in building materials and architectural style, except that accessory structures in the R1-43, RR, and AG districts are exempt from architectural character requirements other than color (Sec. 3.3.3). Backyard fowl (up to six hens, no roosters) are allowed for single-family detached residences with a roofed enclosure of up to 200 square feet at least 20 feet from a neighboring property line (Sec. 3.3.4.B). Portable storage containers are capped at 8.5 feet high, 8 feet wide, 40 feet long, and are limited to 7 days per year on residential lots for household moves; permanent storage containers are allowed only in industrial districts, capped at 320 square feet and 10 feet high (Sec. 3.3.4.G). Domesticated farm animals are allowed in AG, R1-43, and R1-18 on lots of at least one-half acre (Sec. 3.3.4.B).
